Part 3 of 15

The Body, Habit Formation, and the Disciplines

Christopher A. Hall

This talk is from the session, The Body, Habit and the Disciplines: Embodied Interaction with an Immaterial God, the first general session of the 2018 Experiencing Life with God Conference, an academic conference hosted by the Martin Institute of Westmont College and Renovaré. Here is Chris Hall's description: God is Spirit, not flesh, divine not human. Yet in the incarnation of the Son, God entered the material world in the humanity God the Son assumed. In the humanity of the incarnate Son, God experienced in a new and unique fashion what it is to be a human being, an image-bearer. In this talk we will explore together the implications of the incarnation for key issues of spiritual formation and for ever deeper interaction with an immaterial God.
