In the fall of 2012, arrangements were made with Dallas Willard for Westmont College to begin archiving his personal library of books, papers, and related materials for devotional and research purposes. Far too soon thereafter, in early May of 2013, Dallas passed from this life into further life. As Dallas’s home and work offices were sorted, boxes of books, class handouts, notes, and other papers made the two-hour journey to Santa Barbara. Since that time, Westmont’s Voskuyl Library Special Collections staff have been preserving, cataloging, and facilitating access to the archived books and papers of Dallas Willard.
On occasion we plan to bring some items of interest from the Willard Special Collection to your attention. This week it is Dallas Willard’s personally designed business card.
