At their 2008 Midwest Faculty Conference, InterVarsity, a group which Dallas participated in while in graduate school, invited him to speak on spiritual growth for those who work in the academy . . . as Dallas himself did! One of the most important issues he deals with is the fact that Christian teaching (Theology) is not thought of as knowledge. This becomes a problem for people who trade in knowledge to take their discipleship to Jesus with appropriate seriousness.
