Human misery is a topic which Christian philosophers and theologians have wrestled with since the book of Job! In 2011 Menlo Park Presbyterian Church (now Menlo Church) invited Dallas Willard participate in their weekend services for multiple interviews on the subject. There were four services in total and some of interviewer John Ortberg's questions repeat across all four. What is not repetitive are Dallas answers making this is a great introduction into how he addresses this issue intellectually - as well as to his compassionate, pastoral heart!
