Dallas Willard, the Life of Christ and God’s Eternal Purposes

Michael Stewart Robb Part 15 of 15

This talk is from the session, Atonement and Formation, the sixth and final general session of the 2018 Experiencing Life with God Conference, an academic conference hosted by the Martin Institute of Westmont College and Renovaré.

Here is Michael Stewart Robb’s description:

Anselm answered the old question, why did God become man, in terms of a historical achievement of atonement through the cross. Dallas, while not dismissing atonement, saw the eternal purpose of Jesus’ coming in terms of Jesus’ unique role in the formation of a small group of Jewish nobodies.
