Pepperdine University held a conference in 2012 titled “The Competing Claims of Law and Religion: Who Should Influence Whom?” in which Dallas and a number of theologians and law professors were asked to talk about law and Christian knowledge. The conference was based on a book titled Law and the Bible: Justice, Mercy and Legal Institutions.
