Have you ever wondered what it is about God that causes human transformation? Or perhaps what it is about us that makes us capable of being transformed by God?
In late May, the Martin Institute hosted over 80 interdisciplinary scholars and ministry practitioners at Westmont College for the 2nd annual Christian Formation Workshop. The theme of the workshop was “Theories of Divine Transformation: Understanding How God Changes Lives.” Participants examined theories of divine transformation and considered their practical implications.
This week we feature Part Two of the Workshop: “Psychological Perspectives on God’s Transformational Work” (sessions 5-7) with Steve Sandage (Boston University), Alexis Abernethy (Fuller Seminary), Todd Hall (Rosemead School of Psychology), and Erin Smith (California Baptist University).
