Have you ever wondered what it is about God that causes human transformation? Or perhaps what it is about us that makes us capable of being transformed by God?
This May the Martin Institute hosted over 80 interdisciplinary scholars and ministry practitioners at Westmont College for the 2nd annual Christian Formation Workshop. The theme of the workshop was “Theories of Divine Transformation: Understanding How God Changes Lives.” Participants examined theories of divine transformation and considered their practical implications.
In this final installment we feature “Philosophical Perspectives on God’s Transformational Work” (sessions 7–9) with Angela Knobel (University of Dallas), William Matthison (University of Notre Dame), Kimberley Kroll (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School), Frederick Aquino (Southern Methodist University), T. Ryan Byerly (University of Sheffield), Jordan Wessling (Lindsey Wilson College), and closing comments by Rebecca DeYoung (Calvin College).
