This Sunday, November 30th marks the beginning of Advent for the western Church. During the Advent season we wait in hopeful anticipation for the arrival of the Savior of the world and in the promise that he will come again.
Sylvie Vanhoozer’s The Art of Living in Advent invites readers to enter into the overarching narrative of Advent. Through reflections and activities that enrich our own day-to-day Advent pilgrimage, we are invited to participate in the story of how God came to be with us. Vahhoozer encourages us to become adventish persons who know how to wait joyfully for Christ to come in all seasons of life.
