Over the course of the last two years, as dissenting voices became louder and increasingly more polarized, we at Conversatio began to have conversations of our own. We discussed, among other things, politics, the pandemic, racial turmoil, riots, and our feelings and reactions toward them. We wondered, together, Christ’s place in a world such as ours, as well as our place as light bearers of Christ. We listened to each other’s opinions, laments, thoughts, hopes, and frustrations. We found comfort in an ancient God whose ways seem incredibly novel.
What follows are thoughts and reflections that were born out of those raw and honest conversations.
