Silenced Heart

Formation into Christlikeness is especially difficult to notice in dry or difficult seasons. Our Bittersweet series is a collection of candid reflections upon the “bitter” seasons of the spiritual life and learning to discern the “sweet” work of God amid difficult times.

In our most recent article, Chloe Lynch shares her own bittersweet journey into the silence of God. At the end of herself, as old prayers and patterns seem to fall upon deaf ears, she’s begun to see the grace of God at work in entirely new ways.

Be Renewed in Ministry

Conversatio Divina, as part of our work with Westmont College, the Martin Institute for Christianity and Culture and the Dallas Willard Center, was awarded a Lilly grant for the promotion of Thriving in Ministry.

Our program is called Next Frontiers. It is a 12-month, experiential program designed for mid-career pastors seeking to thrive in congregational leadership during times of transition in ministry.

The program is built around:

  1. Relationships with mentors and peers;
  2. Renewal practices inspired by Dallas Willard;
  3. Reimagining of God, self, desires and vocation.
