A group called the Eidos Christian Center (run by Dallas’s friend J.P. Moreland) invited Dallas to give some lectures on the interaction between Christian knowledge and the belief systems of our world. These lectures were done for a small audience but they were subsequently transcribed and reworked to become the book Knowing Christ Today. Not just because of the book, this became a major speaking theme for Dallas’s last ten years of life.
