Through Dallas's long-term relationship with John Ortberg he was invited again to Menlo Park Presbyterian Church (now Menlo Church), this time to answer questions posed by the congregations. The series went by many names including "Ask the Smart Man" and "Can Smart People Believe in God?" The church cut and copy the original four sermons so that the questions were more topically arranged.
